This time last year a very nervous and hairy man decided to pick up a compact camera an make an introduction video and post it to YouTube. This very shaky and tinny video that still remains online to this day was the start of a very addictive hobby that has helped me in many ways.

I would like to thank everyone who has reached out to comment on my videos, share my videos, like/hate my videos and have been able to watch these videos even when they was cringe worthy. I would also like to thank everyone who has added me on Facebook, twitter, WordPress, YTTalk and all the other social networks I like to ply my trade.

In the last 365 days I have made some wonderful friends and subscribers who have helped me in more way than they may realise. Making my YouTube videos in the last year have been a way for me to grow as a human being, to release my frustrations and to learn to be myself even when I feel blue.

In the last 12 months I have been blessed with such wonderful comments and assistance from so many people even when I’m boring you with what food I am cooking or what hideously cheesy film I want you to watch.

Once again THANK YOU. THANK YOU if you’ve taken part in the #HairyMovieClub. THANK YOU if you’ve sent me messages on videos, Facebook or twitter, and THANK YOU for watching my videos even if you are brand new to my madness and you’ve only just started to laugh at my hairy face.

50 First Dates is a 2004 American romantic comedy film directed by Peter Segal and written by George Wing. The film stars Adam Sandler as a woman-chasing veterinarian and Drew Barrymore as an amnesiac, along with Rob Schneider, Sean Astin, Lusia Strus, Blake Clark, and Dan Aykroyd.

Most of the film was shot on location in Oahu, Hawaii on the Windward side and the North Shore. Sandler and Barrymore won an MTV award. This is the second of their two films to date as costars, the first being The Wedding Singer.

The fictitious memory impairment suffered by Barrymore’s character, Goldfield’s Syndrome, is similar to short term memory loss and Anterograde amnesia.

Henry Roth is a veterinarian at Sea Life Park on the island of Oahu who has a reputation of womanizing female tourists. He shows no interest in committing to a serious relationship and his closest friends are Ula, a marijuana-smoking Islander; his assistant Alexa, whose sexuality and gender is unclear; and Willy, his pet African penguin.

One day Henry’s boat breaks down while he is sailing around Oahu. He goes to the Hukilau Café to wait for the coastguard. There, he sees a pretty young woman named Lucy Whitmore, who makes architectural art with her waffles. Henry assumes she is a local, which prevents him from introducing himself, but the next day he comes back. Lucy and he hit it off instantly and she asks him to meet her again tomorrow morning.
When Henry goes back to the café, Lucy shows no recollection of ever meeting him. The restaurant owner Sue (Amy Hill) explains to Henry that a year ago, Lucy and her father Marlin went up to the North Shore to pick a pineapple for his birthday. On the way back, they got into a serious car accident that left Lucy with Goldfield Syndrome, a type of anterograde amnesia. She wakes up every morning thinking it is Sunday, October 13 of the last year. To save her the heartbreak of reliving the accident everyday, Marlin and Doug, Lucy’s lisping steroid-addicted brother, relive Marlin’s birthday by doing numerous tasks, including putting out October 13’s newspaper, watching the same Vikings game, and refilling Lucy’s shampoo bottles.

Despite Sue’s warning, Henry decides to try and get Lucy to have breakfast with him. Eventually he does, but it ends poorly when Henry accidentally hurts Lucy’s feelings. He follows her home to apologize where Marlin and Doug instruct Henry to leave Lucy alone. Henry begins concocting ways to run into Lucy through the following days such as pretending to have car trouble, creating a fake road block and by having Ula beat him up. Eventually, Marlin and Doug figure this out due to Lucy singing The Beach Boys “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” on the days when she meets Henry.

One day, as Henry is about to sit with Lucy at breakfast, she notices a police officer writing her a ticket for her expired plates. Lucy attempts to argue that they are not yet expired, and takes a newspaper to prove herself, but sees that the date on all the newspapers is not October as she thought, and Marlin and Doug are forced to admit their ruse when she confronts them.

Irv Blizter was an American bobsled two time Gold Medalist at the 1968 Winter Olympics who finished first in two events again during the 1972 Winter Olympics but was disqualified from the latter for cheating and retired in disgrace to Jamaica, where he leads an impoverished life as a bookie. Irving is approached by two Jamaican athletes: top 100m runner Derice Bannock, who failed to qualify for the 1988 Summer Olympics when another opponent accidentally tripped him at the trials, and Sanka Coffie, a champion push cart racer. The athletes wish to use Irving’s previous experience as a Coach in order to compete in the 1988 Winter Olympics as bobsledders. Irving had been good friends with Derice’s father, Ben, a former sprinter whom Irving had tried to recruit for the bobsled team years ago, who is presumed to be deceased. Yul Brenner, another runner who was tripped at the qualifier, joins the team as does Junior Bevil, the runner who tripped Yul and Derice. Eventually Irving is convinced to coach the team.

The four try to find various ways to earn money to get in the Olympics; singing on the street, arm wrestling, and holding a kissing booth, but all fail. Junior, however, sells his car, which gets the team the money that they need. Later on in a hotel room, Junior reprimands Sanka for hurting Yul’s feelings and tells him about his father’s past and how he became rich with hard work. He encourages Yul not to give up on achieving all of his goals. Cool Runnings Full Movie Review

In Calgary, Irving manages to acquire an old practice sled, as the Jamaicans have never been in an actual bobsled. The Jamaicans are looked down upon by other countries, in particular the East German team whose arrogant leader, Josef, tells them to go home, resulting in a bar fight. The team resolves to view the contest more seriously, continuing to train and improve their technique. They qualify for the finals, but are briefly disqualified. At the primary judge meeting, a frustrated Irving immediately confronts his former coach from the ’72 Olympic Winter Games Kurt Hemphill, now a primary judge of the ’88 Olympic Winter Games, for disqualifying the Jamaicans for his mistake. He confesses that he made the biggest mistake in his life and resorted to cheating by hiding weights underneath the sled to make it run faster. Irving’s 1972 Gold Medals were revoked and he embarrassed his country with the scandal. He says that if Hemphill wants revenge, just punish him and not his team. He begs Hemphill to let the Jamaicans qualify and represent their country in the Olympics. Later, the judges overturn their decision and the Jamaicans are back in.

Movie Club review for SourceFedNerd and SourceFed Movie Club of Scream 4 – #SFMC #SFNMC
Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill and her Aunt Kate. Unfortunately, Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

Scream 4 (stylized as SCRE4M) is a 2011 American slasher film and the fourth installment in the Scream series. Directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson, writer of Scream and Scream 2, the film stars an ensemble cast which includes Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere. The plot involves Sidney Prescott returning to Woodsboro after ten years as part of her book tour. As soon as she arrives, Ghostface once again begins killing students from Woodsboro High, including her younger cousin’s friends. Prescott, Gale Weathers-Riley, and Dewey Riley once again team up to stop the murders, but not before having to learn from a new generation the “new rules” of surviving horror films.

Originally, the series was intended to be a trilogy, but film production was approved by Bob Weinstein. Depending on the box office, Scream 4 is intended to be the first of a new trilogy. Williamson had to leave production early due to contractual obligations and Ehren Kruger (Scream 3) was brought in for re-writes. Campbell, Arquette and Cox are the only returning cast members from the previous films and were the first to sign on to the film in September 2009. Panettiere and Rory Culkin were the first of the new cast to sign on in May 2010. Ashley Greene was initially the choice of the lead character, Jill, but the role eventually went to Roberts. Filming took place in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan in June 2010 to September 2010, with re-shoots in early 2011.

Scream 4 was released on April 15, 2011, and took in $19.3 million its opening weekend in the United States and Canada, making it the second-lowest opening since the first film. The film has grossed more than $101.3 million at the worldwide box office due to a strong foreign gross.

This is my SourceFed Nerd Movie Club Review for Blue Valentine. Blue Valentine is a 2010 romantic drama film written and directed by Derek Cianfrance. We follow Dean and Cindy as there budding love turns into a painful Bad Romance (avoiding the Lady Gaga pun).

The film premiered in competition at the 26th Sundance Film Festival. Derek Cianfrance, Cami Delavigne and Joey Curtis wrote the film, and Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling played the lead roles as well as serving as co-executive producers for the film. The band Grizzly Bear scored the film.

The film depicts a married couple, Dean Pereira (Gosling) and Cynthia “Cindy” Heller (Williams), shifting back and forth in time between their courtship and the dissolution of their marriage several years later.

Congratulations to Chris Froome who is a member of Team Sky who has been doing amazingly well this year in the Tour De France. Today we will see him win just 1 years after Bradley Wiggins. They finish in Paris this evening

The Ashes is the yearly challenge between England and Australian Cricket Teams for the burnt remains or Ashes from a historical match. So far it looks like England will go 2 – 0 up but in the first test Stuart Broad was accused of cheating after he was visibly out but the umpire didn’t call it and he stayed. So what do you think, should he have walked as a sportsman or stayed?

Next week is a possible royal baby birth so what would you call the royal baby or a royal kitten?
